Cask Marque – Top Marks Awarded Again!

Yesterday it was the Duke’s turn again for a surprise visit from the powers that be to check the quality of the beers.

The Duke had its latest unannounced visit for the real ales to be checked & tested for the highest standards expected.

This enables the Duke to keep its Cask Marque status. All the real ales were checked for their temperature, appearance, aroma and taste, and all received full marks: 5/5 each. In fact the Inspector wrote at the end of the inspection sheet in the genral comments section: “Full Marks – Excellent” !! A great tribute to Bar Manager Luke & Team Duke.
