We are truly humbled by all the goodwill and best wishes messages we have received over the lockdown period just as we are with all the latest ‘best of luck’ messages we are receiving as we approach the big day – tomorrow! It’s finally here – Re-opening Day – Saturday 4th July!
Yes, we are opening tomorrow. Hours are 11am to 11pm, so plenty of time to enjoy your first drink at the Duke in a few months!
We can say that the preparations have certainly been manic, to say the least, but Team Duke have done an absolutely wonderful job sorting everything as per all the guidelines and we are so proud of them all. We are sure you are all to – they have certainly excelled themselves.
One short request is that you do all please be patient with the team as we try and operate as normal as possible under the circumstances. We genuinely don’t expect any problems as the preparatiions have been so thorough, but anything can happen and this is all a bit untried at the moment, so do please respect the staff and be patient if things aren’t as swift as they usually are. That said, we really don’t expect any problems and the team are all ‘chomping at the bit’ to be serving you all again.
