Royal Quiz with Fish Supper – a great evening!

Last night at the Duke was the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Royal Quiz, which was sold out. The Duke was full, with all tables taken for this eagerly awaited Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Royal quiz. It was a close battle, with 3 or 4 teams neck-and-neck when we went into the fish & chip supper break. After some ‘take-away style’ suppers were polished off by the contestants, the 2nd half started. It was all in the balance right until the end, when the winning team ended just one point ahead of the runners up. It was that close! The winning team were given a voucher for a free legendary Duke Sunday Roast lunch for 8 people, which is to include 2 bottles of wine. It was well received!
