A BIG THANK YOU!
Yesterday (Sunday) we had our annual ‘thank you’ to all our neighbours. Our neighbours sometimes have to endure some extra cars in the street when the pub is busy, so we do like to say a big thank you each Christmas time.
Yesterday, both Annie and myself were able to personally thank some 80 neighbours and close friends, offering a drink and some mince pies with mulled wine as well, for ‘putting up with’ the pub and its parking problems. Many, many thanks to all.
There was also the usual carol service, with Phil playing the organ. Thanks, Phil, it made it more special.
