It was ‘Chopper Night’ at the Duke again last night.
Ron ‘Chopper’ Harris comes to the Duke every 6 months or so, and is always accompanied by at least one other Chelsea legend. Last night we had 3 Chelsea legends! Yes, Ron was also with John Hollins and Marvin Hinton. The evening was hosted by comedian MC Micky Pugh, and it all added up to a wonderful enjoyable evening.
Micky warmed everyone up with a host of jokes & other funnies, then on came the 3 H’s to reminisce about old times at Chelsea in the 60’s and 70’s. Some really great stories, and some of them were very funny.
A 45 minute break for the hot buffet before the charity auction and some more stories from the legends and some more funnies from Micky. THis 5th ‘Chopper Night’ was a truly enjoyable evening.
