Cosy award winning pub with a variety of real ales from Arkell's of Swindon and great food.
The 5th May saw the annual unannounced visit to the Duke for the real ales to be checked & tested for the highest standards expected. This enables the Duke to keep its Cask Marque status. All went perfectly – the Duke’s real ales were checked for their temperature, appearance, aroma and taste, and all received full marks: 5/5 each. Cask Marque – Awarded for excellence in the serving of cask beer.
