Cosy award winning pub with a variety of real ales from Arkell's of Swindon and great food.
This week, so close to Christmas, the Duke had its latest unannounced visit for the real ales to be checked & tested for the highest standards expected. This enables the Duke to keep its Cask Marque status. All the real ales were checked for their temperature, appearance, aroma and taste, and all received full marks: 5/5 each. Cask Marque – Awarded for excellence in the serving of cask beer.
