Their Transfer Station in Ascot, Berkshire. It processes all the waste that Shorts collects, whether it is demolition materials, the contents of skips and refuse. Shorts are also in the process of developing a general waste transfer station in Aldershot.
A large amount of the waste that Shorts collects, including wood, concrete, brick is turned into products such as soil and compost, mulch, woodchippings, crushed concrete and brick and hardcore. If you are aware of anyone interested in purchasing any of these materials, or if you have waste that needs collecting, then contact Shorts directly. They are also able to accept delivery of waste (by arrangement only), whether it is a one-off or regular event.
