It’s been a busy week at the pub, and it will end this evening with our big ‘thank you’ to all our neighbours for putting up with the pub and our sometimes overcrowded parking.
The festive season is now in full flow – the week has been very busy at lunchtimes and evenings, with many Xmas lunches and dinners served to couples, families, and parties. Some big 12s and 16s booked in the restaurant regularly.
Team Duke have been on form, as usual, with the girls working hard to ensure our usual standards are met. I can add that the running around has been made a tad more bearable with the return of the ‘uni girls’, who are now on their Xmas break from university studies. Thanks to everyone for their gallant efforts.
It has been great to see all our patrons in festive spirits this last week or two as well – and we hope to get time for a drink with all our regular patrons over the Xmas period. 🙂
