Cask Marque – Top Marks Awarded!
| The 5th May saw the annual (unannounced) visit to the Duke for the real ales to be checked & tested for the highest standards expected. This enables the Duke to keep its Cask Marque status.
All went perfectly – the Duke’s real ales were checked for their temperature, appearance, aroma and taste, and all received full marks: 5/5 each. The Duke’s certificate will be renewed in June – all good for another year. Cask Marque – Awarded for excellence in the serving of cask beer. |
