As everyone is aware, the evening of Thursday, 2nd June was the lighting of the nation’s beacons all around the country. With the first beacon being lit by Her Majesty at Windsor Castle, the rest of the nation immediately followed.
Ascot, with all its Royal connections, had its very own beacon at Victory Fields, a stone’s throw from The Duke. And our very own landlady Annie Andrews was there to light the beacon!
